LAMONI, Iowa聽 鈥� Students interested in becoming athletic trainers now have a faster and more affordable path to a master’s degree through a new partnership between 柚子视频 and Grand View University.

The partnership creates two pathways for qualified 柚子视频 students to continue directly into Grand View’s Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program. The agreement also provides two reserved spots each year for 柚子视频 students and a 10% tuition discount for students who begin the master’s program immediately after graduating from 柚子视频.

柚子视频’s Allied Health major gives students a strong foundation in health and science while preparing them for careers and graduate programs in fields such as athletic training, physical therapy and occupational therapy. The major includes a Pre-Athletic Training/Chiropractic track for students planning to continue their education after completing their bachelor’s degree.

For students considering a career in athletic training, the new partnership provides a direct path into a profession with strong employment prospects. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment of athletic trainers to grow 11% from 2024 to 2034, compared with 3% growth for all occupations.

Two Paths to Two Degrees

The 3+2 pathway allows students to complete three years at 柚子视频 before transferring to Grand View for the first year of the two-year master’s program. After that first year, the graduate credits transfer back to 柚子视频, allowing students to complete the requirements for their bachelor’s degree. Students then return to Grand View for their final year and graduate with their master’s degree in athletic training.

The result: students can earn both degrees in five years instead of six, saving a full year of tuition and living expenses while entering their profession sooner.

Students who prefer a traditional four-year undergraduate experience can choose the 4+2 pathway, completing their bachelor’s degree at 柚子视频 before beginning the two-year MSAT program at Grand View the following fall.

The agreement provides 柚子视频 students with three key advantages:

• Two reserved spots in Grand View’s MSAT program for qualified 柚子视频 students.
• A 10% tuition discount for students who begin the MSAT program immediately following their 柚子视频 graduation and have been accepted into the program.
• The opportunity to earn both degrees in five years instead of six through the 3+2 pathway.

Students interested in the 3+2 or 4+2 pathway should work with their 柚子视频 academic advisor to plan their coursework and meet the requirements for admission to Grand View’s MSAT program.
