Ƶ is proud to announce a new partnership with BTC‵԰ and National Management Services to install a state-of-the-art, video-capable scoreboard at Huntsman Field on its Lamoni, Ia., campus. The new scoreboard, which measures 26 feet wide by 23 feet tall, will be relocated from the south side to the north side of the field to improve visibility and create a more dynamic game-day experience for Yellowjacket fans.

The scoreboard is currently under construction and will make its debut on Saturday, September 6, 2025, when Ƶ kicks off the football season against William Woods University.

This significant investment was made possible through the generosity of BTC‵԰, a trusted community partner with deep roots in both Iowa and Missouri. The bank’s sponsorship underscores a shared commitment to education, youth development, and community pride. BTC Bank’s support was also bolstered through collaboration with National Management Resources, Ƶ’s campus facilities partner, whose contributions helped bring the project to life.

“BTC Bank is proud to be a strong community partner with Ƶ,” said Doug Fish, BTC Bank President and CEO. “This scoreboard is more than just an upgrade—it’s an investment in student experiences, school spirit, and the future of Lamoni. We believe in supporting local institutions who are shaping the next generation of leaders.”

BTC‵԰’s commitment to community is evident in its longstanding philanthropic work, including annual scholarships for high school seniors, FFA Community Impact Grants, and substantial giving through the BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp. That spirit of giving made them a natural partner for this project, which celebrates both athletic excellence and community engagement.

“Supporting Ƶ through this partnership is incredibly meaningful to me, both as a BTC Bank employee and a proud Ƶ alum,” said Kevin Lloyd ’01, BTC Bank Market President. “It’s an honor to give back to a place that has given me so much, and to help enhance the experience for students, fans, and the entire community.”

Ƶ President Joel Shrock expressed deep appreciation for the partnership, saying, “We’re incredibly grateful to BTC‵԰ for their visionary support and for believing in the power of small-town partnerships. This scoreboard isn’t just about technology—it’s about celebrating our students, energizing our campus, and building pride in our Yellowjacket community. When businesses like BTC Bank and partners like National work alongside us, it reminds us that Ƶ’s mission is shared and supported far beyond the classroom.”

Kristi Hettrick, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Admissions, echoed that sentiment: “This collaboration highlights what’s possible when values align. BTC‵԰’s generosity and local presence in Lamoni make them an ideal partner. The new scoreboard enhances the student-athlete experience and strengthens the connection between Ƶ and the community we proudly call home. We’re especially thankful to National for their role in helping this project become a reality.”
